German vice-chancellor visits Isfahan’s historical monuments

Isfahan, 7/21/2015 – Visiting German Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and his accompanying delegation on Tuesday visited monuments of the historic city of Isfahan in central Iran.

Gabriel, who is on a visit to Iran at the head of a 60-member delegation of German experts, specialists, managers, industry-owners and businesspersons, arrived in Isfahan early on Tuesday.

Speaking to IRNA correspondent, Isfahan governor-general said the aim of the one-day visit of the German delegation to the province is getting familiar with the capacities of Isfahan and exploring ways for mutual cooperation and investment.

The German delegation is scheduled to hold a meeting with Isfahan governor general to explore grounds for cooperation.

The German vice-chancellor and his accompanying delegation arrived in the Iranian capital on Sunday upon an invitation by Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh.
