Iran, Russia sign MoU for establishment of new airlines

Moscow, July 8, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaie said on Tuesday that Tehran and Moscow have signed a memorandum of understanding for air transportation.

Saneie wrote in a social network that the agreement was signed on the verge of the visit to Russia of president Hassan Rouhani which had taken place to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

The document was inked to follow up some efforts made in the past few months between the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation.
